Human Services
Associate in Science (A.S.)
Turn your passion for helping others into a career in community healthcare, youth and family services, or nonprofit work. Learn how to facilitate change and improve the lives of people in difficult circumstances while preparing to transfer to a four-year school.
Career Outlook: Social Services
Help clients and their families find the assistance they need with a career in human services. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics expects demand for human and social service professionals to grow 12% by 2031, much faster than the average for all occupations.
The rise in job opportunities is the result of continued expansion of residential care facilities, new disability support programs, and additional social services for families in crisis. Our human services degree prepares you for a rewarding career in this growing field.
