Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.)
Viticulturists play an important role in wine production by ensuring that vineyards maximize yield and flavor. This track introduces you to the tools and techniques necessary to manage a vineyard from seed to store.
Viticulture Track Overview
This variation of our A.A.S Viticulture and Wine Technology degree increases the focus on biology and chemistry to help you master the science of grape production. As a transfer program, this track prepares you for the upper-level courses you'll take at a four-year institution.
Professional Wine Production Facilities
As a viticulture student, you'll take most or all of your classes at the Viticulture and Wine Center in Geneva, NY. This professional facility features a teaching winery, vineyard, enology lab, aging rooms, crush pad, and classroom.
Work with the same viticulture technology and equipment you'll find at local wineries throughout the Finger Lakes region.

- Interpret processes of pest control throughout grape vine phenological cycles.
